A Plan for Children in Adversity

This past wednesday was a landmark day for children as USAID launched an ‘all government’ action plan to address children in adversity.  The plan will address early childhood beginnings and child protection with a focus on evidence based research.  USAID reports that 200 million children under 5, greater than 30% of the world’s children, do not to reach their developmental potential in lower and middle income countries. We are excited to watch children benefit from this new plan and approach.
