World Vision’s Marilee Pierce Dunker knows how to cut to the heart of a situation. The daughter of World Vision founder Bob Pierce works as an advocate and voice for World Vision, sharing her heart for justice and peace.

Last week she shared her thoughts on Syria: “I must confess that as a mother and grandmother it was hard for me to ‘look at the acts of oppression’ going on in Damascus right now…I asked God to show me how I can be part of his plan to bring comfort to those who believe the world has chosen not to ‘look’.”
