CALL TO ACTION: Use Your Voice to Fight Human Trafficking

TODAY and MONDAY: Call your Senator and ask them to support the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act by voting for Senator Leahy’s amendment #21 to the Violence Against Women Act (S. 47).

On Monday the Violence Against Women Act (S.47) will be debated and possibly voted on in the Senate. Senator Leahy has offered the full text of S. 1301, the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act, as an amendment. The amendment will have to be voted on before it can be attached to the Violence Against Women Act.

Find your Senators Phone number here and when you call, simply say:

Hello, my name is ______________ and I am a constituent from ______________.  I am calling to ask the Senator to support the Trafficking Victims Protection Act by voting for Senator Leahy’s amendment #21 to the Violence Against Women Act (S. 47).  Thank you.

If you would like, you can ask for a response.

Your voice can make a difference.  Just 10 calls in one day is enough to make a Senate office notice an issue and make it a priority.  Make 2 calls to your 2 Senators, today and Monday.  Thank you!
