Does Hunger Affect Girls More Than Boys?

Girls often eat last and least. In the first 1,000 days, from conception to beyond, nutrition affects growth, disease resistance, brain activity, success in school and future generations.  Girls tend to be fed less and be undernourished, but proper nutrition for all children is essential and greater food security often leads to less gender disparity in what boys and girls eat.  Sign a petition to tell President Obama that policies that support nutrition interventions need to be a priority.

10,000 signatures will help send a message to World leaders that by beginning with nutrition, more children are saved, given opportunity and will raise healthier future generations.  Sign here.
