Are you a white Christian male landowner? If so, then you would have been eligible to elect George Washington in 1789. If you are black, Asian, Native America, do not own property, a women or between the ages of 18-21- someone fought for your right to vote in the United States. On November 6th, do not take this right in vain.
In one week, over 146 million people will have the chance to vote. This is more than a vote for the President. This is a vote for the Congress that will represent you, your local state legislation, your schools, your food and your community.
