United States Anti-trafficking Legislation: Patience is a virtue

The Trafficking Victims Protection Act is a piece of legislation that was originally passed in the year 2000.  It is the United States’ largest piece of anti-trafficking legislation.  For those of you who have been watching the reauthorization of the bill, the road has been long. The bill expired in 2011 and will have to be began again if it does not pass this Congress.  The road is long, but there is a path.  Read here about where the TVPRA will go.
