What is Advocacy? Speaking for Justice.

ad·vo·ca·cy: noun, To take action for another.

Anyone can be an advocate. It’s as simple as telling your friends about an issue that you are passionate about.  You can go a step further by educating and sharing information about these issues with others.  An advocate can speak with their congressional leaders and ask them to support policy and legislation that help those who are impoverished, trapped, oppressed and unable  speak for themselves.

An advocate cares and uses their voice to help another.  This is your place where you can find what you need to be an advocate- resources, education and support.  Thank you for joining us.
