Women Deliver

ban-ki-moon (1)

This week, World Vision is participating  in Women Deliver. This global event brings together women’s rights advocates, policymakers and civil society groups in Malaysia.  This is the third event of its kind.  From the website:

Women Deliver 2013 is the largest global event of the decade to focus on the health and empowerment of girls and women. With the 2015 Millennium Development Goal deadline rapidly approaching, the time is now to deliver for girls and women. Women Deliver 2013 will serve as a global platform for ensuring that the health and rights of girls and women remain top priorities now, and for decades to come. More than 120 concurrent sessions, high-level plenaries, skills-building workshops, and ministerial and parliamentarian forums will inspire and inform your work to build a better world for girls and women.

Speakers include Chelsea Clinton and Melinda Gates.  You can follow the speakers, watch live and see what has already taken place here.
